Some of you have already submitted remixes of the four tracks on the VÆ EP. This is fantastic.
Many more of you might want to submit a remix. Now is your chance.
The official remixes of VÆ will be compiled into a release called ÆVOLVE.
ÆVOLVE is a living album, to be released in four weekly stages as it evolves. Each week, some of the submitted VÆ remixes will be released to the members of the Væpors mailing list. At the end of the project, the whole album will be released to the public.
Email a downloadable link to your track (or email the track itself) to vaepors (at gmail).
The audio must be lossless (WAV or AIFF or FLAC format). 24 bit 44.1KHz preferred, but 16 bit is also fine.
Væpors will handle the final mastering of your track to make ÆVOLVE a coherent listening experience. Please mix down with plenty of headroom — your track should sound "quiet" compared to other people's released tracks. Do not use peak limiting or "loudness maximization" plugins on your track, because doing so may compromise the dynamics of the final mastered version.
